Open Review and Linguistic Inclusivity
Recognizing linguistic diversity in academia, we have implemented an inclusive policy at Scientia International Journals. Articles are accepted in any language for publication and are translated into English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Metadata, including titles, abstracts, and keywords, is available in six languages: German, Spanish, French, English, Mandarin, and Portuguese. Books can be published in English, Portuguese, or Spanish without mandatory translation, respecting the author’s language choice. This initiative aims to make information accessible to a broader audience and help researchers from different linguistic regions discover relevant works.
Our progressive and transparent open review model fosters transparency by identifying reviewers and authors and publishing their reports alongside the articles. This approach promotes openness, accountability, constructive dialogue, and scientific knowledge improvement.
Our Vision and Commitment to Global Science Communication
Scientia International Press aspires to be a leader in multilingual open access publishing, providing a trusted, high-quality, and accessible publishing environment for researchers worldwide. We are committed to supporting the scientific community by promoting the broad and accessible dissemination of scientific knowledge. Through our open access publishing services, we aim to advance knowledge, drive scientific collaboration, and foster global innovation.
Government Support
Scientia International is recognized and supported by the governments of Spain, Brazil, and Portugal, reinforcing its mission to transform global scientific dissemination through innovation, inclusion, and open access.
Support from the Spanish Government
Based in Spain, Scientia International is incubated at the CEEIM – European Centre for Business and Innovation of Murcia, integrating a strategic network of innovation and entrepreneurship. In 2025, the project received two significant public supports.
The first was its selection for the Startup Acceleration Program, promoted by the EOI Foundation with funding from the European Union – Next Generation EU, in collaboration with Telefónica and Wayra. This acceleration program targets high-impact tech startups and provides personalized training, specialized mentoring, investor access, and integration into Telefónica's global innovation ecosystem.
The second was the award of the Kit Digital, a national initiative for the digital transformation of startups and SMEs. It allowed Scientia to invest in web infrastructure, process automation, integration of educational platforms, and editorial management systems. These supports strengthen our business model and position us as a leader in multilingual scientific publishing and open-access education.
Support from the Brazilian Government
In Brazil, Scientia International is recognized by the Inova Simplesregime, a government program for innovative business development. This legal status facilitates the formalization and growth of disruptive startups, with access to public policies and support programs.
Recognition by the Portuguese Government
In Portugal, Scientia was incubated at Regia-Douro Park, through strategic collaboration with the Municipality of Vila Real, the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD), and Portuspark. In 2023, it was selected for the StartUP Visa Portugal program, promoted by IAPMEI – Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation, under application number 1089. This initiative marked a milestone in Scientia's international expansion strategy.
