Resumo
Neste ensaio, analiso “Drácula” de Bram Stoker a partir de perspectivas específicas, como as representações da figura feminina, do cavalheiro vitoriano, a Revolução Industrial, os imigrantes estrangeiros em Londres, a legislação trabalhista e a sexualidade na sociedade vitoriana. Como também aponto as relações entre as fontes de medo e de conflitos no romance; e os medos e conflitos sociais, culturais e econômicos na Inglaterra Vitoriana.
